20 Hour Pranayama Yoga Teacher Training with Grurav Malik


Join Gaurav Malik for a 20hr Pranayama Teacher Training over three days as he takes you deep into the traditional yogi practice of pranayama breathing techniques.

Through this training, you will be empowered to develop your own dedicated in-depth daily self-practice, to share the techniques with your own students, and how to incorporate them into your asana class.

This course is for yoga and meditation teachers and for those who want to enhance their own practice and self-knowledge on a more deeper and profound level. Through theory and practice, you will explore vital pranayama practices that will lead to greater balance, wisdom, and freedom.

This training includes:
Pranayama guidelines and preparation for pranayama
Theory: Prana, different types of Prana, Nadis, Bandhas, and the Pranayama System.
Guided movement and pranayama breathing practice
Asanas to improve the effects and benefits of pranayama
Pre-pranayama breathing and pranayama techniques including: Kaphalabhati, Anuloma Viloma, Nadi Shodhan, Ujjayi, Sheetali, Seetkari, Bhastrika, Bhramari, and Suryabheda.
A practical sequence and ratio guide will be provided guiding your own students (and practice)
Q&A sessions
Teaching practice sessions for student-teachers
A full pranayama 20- hour training manual to take home.
A self-practice guide and Q&A email support for one week after the training
Ashtak Yoga School Yoga Alliance US member 20 hrs continued education signed e-certificate for each completing participant

About Gaurav Malik:
Travels between Australia, Bali and India where he studied yoga for 10 years at one of the world’s oldest universities. Gaurav is the lead trainer at Ashtak Yoga School in Goa, India and specialises in asana, pranayama, and all things yoga. Gaurav provides a grounding and comfortable space for his students as he teaches his own unique style, a mix of tradition, modern movement, and love. When people first meet Gaurav they are instantly drawn to his loving, caring, and calming demeanour. Gaurav has an in-depth and seemingly never-ending knowledge of yoga in many areas including history, adjustment and alignment, philosophy, Ayurveda, mantras, meditation and of course, pranayama.
