Lets Do ThisA Yoga Community That Supports You Beyond the Mat
Being a yoga teacher isn’t just about guiding classes—it’s about being part of something bigger, a community that values and supports you. It’s easy to feel like you’re just teaching many classes but still feel lonely, bouncing from studio to studio, getting from class after class without a strong support network. But that’s not how we vibe at Nin Yoga.
We're here to ensure you have whatever you need to feel like you are not taking this path alone.
A thriving and sustainable yoga career is built on community, collaboration, and continuous learning. When you do ongoing learning with us, you don’t just walk away with a certificate and then “Well that's that, see you later alligator”—you become part of a network of like-minded teachers who support, inspire, and uplift each other even after the training ends.
Our training doesn't end when you receive your certificate. It's the beginning of a journey with a group of passionate yogis who, like you, are committed to deepening their practice, refining their teaching, and growing together. Through our private online community, in-person meetups, and ongoing mentorship, you’ll always have a place to ask questions, share experiences, and celebrate wins—big and small.
I'm in!

Support, Sustainability & Community for Yoga Teachers
We understand the solitary nature of teaching yoga. It can often feel like a lonely path, with you holding space for others, guiding students through transformation, and pouring your energy into creating meaningful classes. But who’s holding space for YOU?Â
We WANT TO provide that support.
We have known many yoga teachers who have burnt out because they’re constantly giving, juggling multiple classes, travelling from one dang place to the next, and struggling to balance teaching, personal practice (if it even exists anymore), and financial sustainability. It’s easy to fall into a cycle of overworking, undercharging, and feeling disconnected from a supportive community.
This 300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training isn’t just about deepening your skills—it’s about building a career that nourishes you just as much as you have always nourished your cherished students.
The goal is to help you build a teaching career that is sustainable, fulfilling, and community-driven. With this one year long training, you’ll gain the tools to avoid burnout, refine your teaching craft, and develop multiple income streams. This means you can thrive as a yoga teacher without sacrificing your well-being (aka, practice what you preach!)
Â
Sometimes feeling a little... meh?
The best yoga teachers are lifelong students. Lets reignite your passion, give you fresh inspiration, and connect you with like-minded humans who are just as dedicated to learning and growing and flourishing in this wild and precious life as much as you are.
Our comprehensive training covers intelligent sequencing, deeper philosophy, business and branding, energetics, and of course, our favourite, personal reflection.
We will elevate your confidence, creativity, and clarity as a teacher. With our support network, mentorship, and private community, you’ll never feel like you’re doing this big and beautiful thing alone.
Together, let’s build a sustainable, supportive, and inspiring yoga career. 💛

What makes this 300 hour Teacher Training different from others you ask?
As a teacher since 2015, and studio owner since 2017, there are a few key points to mention about this particular training that make it different from ALLLLL of the rest out there at the moment.
Sunday classes. We have noticed that most of our community works in full-time roles, and the weekend is full of commitments. Teacher training is usually not accessible (anyone else got little kiddies?!). So, for this round, we have made the classes on Sunday, 9 am to 4 pm, with minimal homework during the week, as we know you have a whole bunch on your plate already as it is. FYI - It's not every single consecutive Sunday; some of them fall on the holidays, and if you need to miss a Sunday here and there, that is totally ok too! We have a way for you to catch up with ease ;)
Extended payment plans. As someone who does not own a money tree out the back, often the only way ongoing learning has been accessible for me is with payment plans. We wanted to stretch these out and give up to a generous 52 weeks to pay it off at $120 a week.
Exceptional Faculty. All of the teachers in this 300 hour teacher training are absolute experts in their field and are respected by our industry and beyond. It has always been such an honour to bring these teachers out to Western Sydney, and we look forward to hosting them!
Every session recorded. Have to miss a session? Totally all good. We will have an online resource for every single one if you need to catch up all via our online platform. To pass this course, you just need to have in-person attendance 80% of the time.
3 Day Silent Retreat. Let's practice what we preach in a group setting and have a solid, silent sit together while on retreat in the Blue Mountains.
We’re DIVERSE. We have been running yoga teacher trainings since 2020 and have always been known to be accessible and diverse. The same goes for our 300 hour.
We at Nin Yoga are based in Western Sydney, surrounded by people of diverse socioeconomic backgrounds.

You are welcome.
Modules Explored
Advanced Alignment & Functional Anatomy
Deepen your foundational understanding of posture, movement mechanics, and the art of intelligent sequencing. This module not only refines your ability to guide students safely through asana with precise verbal cues, adjustments, and variations tailored to different body types, but also has the potential to transform your teaching and deepen your practice. This training will elevate your teaching and deepen your practice, inspiring you to reach new heights in your yoga teaching journey by covering standing postures, backbends, balances, inversions, and revision alongside functional anatomy and biomechanics, all lead with our dearest alignment and anatomy expert Suzie Q.
Subtle Anatomy & Energetics
Move beyond the physical and explore the energetic body. This module delves into the chakras, nadis, koshas, and bandhas, providing insight into how these subtle elements influence emotions, mental clarity, and vitality. Learn how to weave energetic awareness into your teaching to create a holistic, transformative yoga experience for future students.
Yoga Philosophy & Sacred Texts
Apply Yogic Philosophy in Daily Life & Teaching and expand your knowledge of Yogic philosophy by exploring Yoga Sutras, Bhagavad Gita, and Ayurveda. Discover how these ancient teachings remain relevant today, shaping how we live, teach, and practice yoga. This module helps you cultivate a deeper connection between philosophy and daily life, allowing you to guide students in meaningful self-inquiry and transformation. All three of these subjects are led in the studio by expert teacher Katie Rose.
Meditation, Pranayama & Mindfulness Practices
Meditation, breathwork, and mindfulness techniques strengthen one's ability to hold space. This module covers meditation styles, pranayama techniques, and the neuroscience behind breath and nervous system regulation. Learn to lead breath-centred practices that support emotional well-being, focus, and balance, something we yoga teachers always need.
3-Day Silent Retreat: Deepening Self-Exploration
As part of this training, students will all get together for a 3-day silent retreat, offering self-inquiry, stillness, and deep reflection (without any screens, too, WE CAN DO THIS!). This retreat will help you reconnect with your inner wisdom, refine your ability to hold space and experience the actual depth of yogic practice through guided meditation and silent observation. This retreat will be held in Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains and is not compulsory, as we understand it is not accessible for everyone to have a night or two away from home. Still, we encourage you, if possible, as part of your 300-hour teacher training journey. Accommodation and food are included, and you don't need to pay any extra; you just need to be available on the dates.
Somatics, Trauma-Informed Yoga & Accessibility
Develop a deeper understanding of movement intelligence, body awareness, and how to create safe, accessible yoga spaces for all students. This module covers somatic movement, trauma-sensitive yoga, restorative practices, and hands-off assisting techniques, ensuring that your teaching style is adaptable, inclusive, and deeply nourishing for all that you encounter as you teach.
Creative Sequencing & Intuitive Teaching
Move beyond structured sequences and learn how to craft creative, theme-based classes that flow with intention and authenticity. This module will help you develop confidence in intuitive teaching, incorporating storytelling, music, and somatic awareness into your sequencing to create truly impactful experiences.
Activism & Yoga for Social Change
Yoga extends beyond the mat—a practice of awareness, compassion, and conscious action. In this module, we explore yoga as a tool for activism, diving into how the principles of yoga can inspire social justice, environmental sustainability, and community service. You will learn how to integrate Seva (selfless service) into your teaching, use your platform to advocate for inclusivity and accessibility and engage in ethical business practices that align with your values.
This module includes discussions on cultural appropriation, representation in wellness spaces, and the intersection of yoga and social justice movements. You will be encouraged to reflect on your role as a yoga teacher in fostering positive change and given practical tools to take action in your community.
This module empowers yoga teachers to become change agents through self-inquiry, group discussions, and real-world examples, ensuring their work supports individual transformation, collective healing, and equity in the broader world.
Sound Healing, Mantra & Yoga Nidra
Harness the power of sound, vibration, and deep relaxation techniques. Learn how mantra, sound healing, and Yoga Nidra can be integrated into your classes to promote profound shifts in awareness, stress relief, and nervous system restoration.
Voice Coaching
Let's spend some time with a professional voice coach to figure out how we can best communicate with those around us. Get confident in being the centre of attention, keep those around you inspired and engaged, and continue to use your voice in the most sustainable way possible.
Introduction to Aerial Yoga
Nin Yoga has loved Aerial Yoga slings as a way to support the body since we first opened our doors. Study with teachers who have been sharing this apparatus for over a decade and learn the foundations of adding Aerial Yoga to your regular practice, and maybe even one day, share with others.
Business, Branding & Marketing for Yoga Teachers
Gain the tools and confidence to build a sustainable career as a yoga teacher. This module covers branding, social media, financial planning, pricing strategies, multiple income streams, and ethical business practices. Whether you're looking to teach in studios, launch an online platform, host retreats, or even open YOUR OWN studio, this training provides the insights needed to create a thriving yoga business while staying aligned with your values.
Seva, Self-Reflection & Community Engagement
Yoga is more than just teaching—it’s about service, self-growth, and community. This module encourages self-inquiry, participation in volunteer-based Seva work, and deep reflection on your yoga journey. You’ll explore integrating yogic ethics into everyday life while making a meaningful impact within your community. You can find somewhere to volunteer as part of this course that resonates with you, or we can help find a placement for you.

Â

Who Is This Training For?
Our 300-hour Yoga Teacher Training is designed for passionate yoga teachers looking for something a lil different.
If you want to refine your skills, deepen your understanding, and create a sustainable, fulfilling yoga career, we got you!
Yoga Teachers Seeking Growth & Inspiration
Suppose you’ve already completed a 200-hour teacher training but feel like you’re teaching the same tired sequences, are craving more depth, or just unsure of your next steps. In that case, this training will reignite your passion and help you evolve into a more confident, well-rounded teacher. We focus on advanced sequencing, energetics, subtle anatomy, trauma-informed practices, and business development to help you refine your voice and expand your offerings.
Yoga Teachers Seeking Sustainability & Community
Teaching yoga can be isolating, and many teachers experience burnout from overworking, undercharging, or feeling like they have to figure everything out on their own. This training provides the tools to create a sustainable, long-term yoga career while surrounding you with a supportive network of like-minded teachers and mentors, where you'll feel included and supported.
Yoga Teachers Who Want to Specialise & Diversify

Â
Who Is This Training NOT For?
- Brand-new yogis: This training requires a solid foundation in yoga practice and philosophy. If you’re new to yoga, we recommend starting with our 200-hour training and attending regular studio classes before considering this 300-hour course.
- Those looking for a quick certification: This is not a fast-track program. Our training is in-depth, immersive, and requires dedication. If you’re looking for a quick qualification without the commitment to personal and professional growth, this may not be the right fit. We recommend looking for online courses or month-long immersions if you would like to get it done faster.
- People unwilling to engage in self-reflection and personal work: This training involves deep inquiry, mentorship, and self-exploration. We encourage an open mind, willingness to learn, and the ability to reflect on one's growth as both a teacher and a student.
This 300-hour training is for those who want to grow, refine, and sustain their yoga teaching career while being supported by a strong, inspiring community of teachers. It's a place where you can connect, engage, and learn from each other, fostering a sense of shared learning and growth.
We’d love to welcome you into our next training cohort if you already have your 200-hour certification and this sounds like your vibe, and hey, if it's not, that is totally ok too! 💛

"I just didn't realise the depth of what you would learn in yoga on the teacher training course, and I'm just so grateful it has just opened my world, my mind, my heart to a whole, a whole new world that I just didn't even really understand existed.
I'm so very grateful to all of the teachers Annika has collected and brought onto this course. They have all been phenomenal. They're all absolute experts in their subject matter.
I highly recommend it to anyone who's thinking about doing yoga teacher training in Sydney. Make the drive out to Penrith. It is amazing. You will not regret it. It's just been fabulous. Thank you so much."

"My journey with yoga was very asana-focused and posture-focused. So, coming to my Yoga Teacher Training, I thought, "I know what I'm doing; I do yoga all the time. I know I can do this."
Little did I know that the internal, subtle energies of yoga really changed who I am as a person and has opened up an energy within me that I cannot wait to now take out into our communities and share.
Thank you, Annika, so much. I'm honoured and grateful to be a part of your community, and I cannot wait to share my journey with you and those around us."
