keen to go overseas?

I'm going to be talking about our India retreat a little more over the next few weeks because bookings officially close at the end of November, and we only have room for two more people!

We've already got 13 lovely humans joining us, and I'd love to fill those final two spots.

So, here's a little reminder of what we're doing!

7–14 March 2027 | Goa, India

We're spending seven nights at the beautiful Ashiyana Retreat Centre in North Goa, surrounded by tropical gardens and just a short walk from the beach.

This isn't a retreat where you're expected to participate in everything. There will be plenty happening, but you can do as much or as little as you like.

What does a typical day look like?

  • Morning yoga, with styles including Vinyasa, Hatha, Iyengar and Gentle Flow, all with local teachers.

  • Breakfast, followed by free time to explore, swim, read, have a massage or do absolutely nothing.

  • Optional excursions to waterfalls, spice farms, markets, beaches and more.

  • Afternoon yoga with a local teacher if you feel like another practice.

  • Dinner together, followed by optional meditation, philosophy, sound baths or Kirtan.

We'll also have a traditional Puja Fire Ceremony, a beach bonfire and plenty of time to simply enjoy being in Goa.

Accommodation options

There are four room categories, with shared and private options:

  • Eco Lodge: From $2,925 shared. Our most affordable option, without air conditioning.

  • Palm Grove: From $3,185 shared. A lovely step up from Eco.

  • Raj: From $3,575 shared. Includes air conditioning.

  • Luxury: From $4,160 shared. Our most spacious accommodation option, with air conditioning.

All prices include seven nights' accommodation, breakfast and dinner, daily yoga, retreat activities and excursions, and airport transfers at designated times.

What about the other costs?

I also want to give you a realistic picture of what the whole trip will cost, not just the retreat itself.

Here's what you'll need to budget for on top:

  • Return flights: Currently around $1,500 from Sydney to Goa.

  • Passport: $455 for a 10-year Australian passport if you don't already have one.

  • Indian tourist visa: Approximately $40 AUD for a 30-day e-tourist visa, depending on exchange rates and processing fees.

  • Travel insurance: You'll need to organise your own, sometimes people have this alreday included as part of thier credit cards, otherwise its around $200 ish.

  • Spending money: For shopping, massages, extra food and drinks, or anything else you fancy.

So, for example, with our 10% discount, an Eco Lodge shared room comes down to $2,632.50. Add flights, visa and a passport if needed, and you're looking at roughly $4,200–$4,700 before insurance and spending money.

We can help you figure out the travel side of things too! From finding flights that work for you, to knowing when to apply for your visa and organising airport transfers. You won't be left to figure everything out on your own.

We've also already got a very lively WhatsApp group happening, with everyone getting to know each other, making friends and figuring out their travel plans. It's been really lovely watching everyone connect before we've even left Australia, and we'd love to have you in there too!

A little something for the Nin fam bam

If you've been thinking about joining us, you can use code INDIAFAM for 10% off your retreat booking.

This applies to both pay-in-full bookings and weekly payment plans, so you don't need to find the whole amount upfront.

Bookings close 30 November, or earlier if our final two spots are taken.

I'll be chatting about India a little more over the next few weeks before bookings close, so apologies in advance if you hear me banging on about Goa again!

It's going to be a pretty wonderful week, and I'd love to have you there.
