Sunday – Arrival & Puja Ceremony
Arrive from 2pm and settle into your room. Take a swim, unpack slowly, or wander through the gardens.
Late afternoon we gather for a gentle Opening Circle hosted by Annika, followed by the traditional Puja Fire Ceremony led by a local Hindu priest to bless our week together.
Dinner is served buffet-style, with the option to attend the evening 8:15pm session if you wish.
Monday – Friday Rhythm
5:30am – 7:30am | Optional Pranayama Immersion (Certification Track)
Led by Gaurav Malik (PhD in Pranayama)
2-hour sessions each morning (Monday–Friday).
And remember — 5:30am Goa time is 11:30am Sydney time, so your body clock will likely feel surprisingly comfortable.
If you are not completing the certification, this is simply sunrise time for beach walks, journaling, or sleeping in.

This is a 15-hour Pranayama Certification led by Gaurav Malik.

• Yoga Alliance recognised continuing education (for 200hr trained teachers)
All in-person sessions will be recorded.
If you miss a session, you may complete it via recording once home.

what will we eat?
Ashiyana Retreat Centre offers two freshly prepared vegetarian buffet meals each day, featuring a diverse mix of nourishing, flavourful dishes inspired by Indian and international cuisines. Meals are served in their open-air restaurant overlooking lush tropical gardens and are designed to leave you feeling energised yet light.
Expect colourful spreads filled with seasonal vegetables, vibrant curries, fresh salads, wholesome grains, and local tropical fruit. Both gluten-free and dairy-free options are available daily, with herbal teas, filtered water, chai, and lemon-ginger tea offered throughout the day.
Breakfast is served between 9:00 am – 11:00 am, and dinner between 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm, with plenty of time to enjoy slow mornings and long, connected evenings around the table.

Daily Yoga, Meditation & Pranayama
Optional morning and afternoon drop-in yoga classes are offered daily at the retreat centre, including Vinyasa Flow, Hatha, Iyengar, Yin, Restorative and Gentle styles — allowing you to choose movement or stillness as you feel called.

Transfers: Airport transfers from Goa (Dabolim Airport or Manohar International Airport – Mopa) are included in your retreat package. Simply share your flight details once booked and transfers will be arranged accordingly.
Flights: Flights are not included. Once bookings are confirmed, the Nin Yoga community will share suggested flight options so you can travel together or coordinate arrivals if you wish.

You may cancel your booking and receive a refund of all payments made, minus a $400 administration fee (this covers venue deposit and processing costs).
After 1 December 2026
All payments are non-refundable, as retreat costs are confirmed and committed to the venue at this stage.
Transfers
If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another person. The replacement guest must agree to the same pricing and terms.
Missed Payments (Payment Plans)
If an instalment is missed, we will contact you directly.
If payments are not brought up to date within 14 days, your place may be forfeited and payments made to date will be non-refundable.

For those who wish to deepen their studies, the retreat includes the option to complete a 15-hour Pranayama training, taught by Gaurav Malik (PhD in Pranayama).
This training explores traditional breathing techniques, theory, and embodied practice, and may be used as continuing education hours with Yoga Alliance, provided eligibility requirements are met.

Yoga Alliance continuing education certificates are available only to participants who have already completed a 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training.
If you have not completed a 200-hour YTT, you are still very welcome to join the pranayama sessions for learning and personal practice, however Yoga Alliance accreditation will not apply.

To receive the full 15-hour certification, participants must:
