A 2026 Art Exhibition, Threads of Being, explores the unseen connections that weave us together through movement, art, sound, and story. Each piece, performance, and poem invites you to pause, reflect, and notice the shared threads that bind us as human beings

Threads of Being — Art, Music & Spoken Word

Step into Nin Yoga Penrith as it transforms into a living gallery for one evening only. Threads of Being is a celebration of creativity, connection, and community — where visual art, live music, and spoken word weave together in one shared space.

This exhibition explores the subtle and not-so-subtle threads that connect us: body, breath, memory, place, and presence. Expect an immersive, relaxed atmosphere where you can wander, pause, listen, and engage with art in a way that feels human and accessible.

Featured Artists & Performers

You’ll experience works from exhibiting artists including Danica Prasad, Karen Gruber, and Kaycee Ink, alongside live jazz from The Red Experiment and spoken word performances by Olly Moore, Samantha Bun, Mo Mann, and Samantha Roberts.

    Caitlin is a ceramicist at Parramatta Clay Arts studio, creating sculpture and functional ware using wheel throwing and hand building techniques. Over three years of practice, she's made a lot of bowls and mugs, and also some hand-built rats.

    Danica is a self-taught Sydney based mystic and multidimensional visionary artist. With an intricate eye for mesmerising detail, she renders otherworldly portals of cosmic scenes. Her work offers viewers visions of distant realms, insights into the creative structure of our universe and glimpses beyond the veil.

    Odissi Dance: "Kirwani Pallavi, choreographed by Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra". Odissi is a classical Indian dance style known for smooth torso movements, sculptural poses and rhythmic footwork. I will be performing the pure dance aspect of Odissi, which focusses on rhythm, technique and movement without dramatic characterisation

    Samantha is an Australian-Cambodian poet residing in western Sydney. She has completed a Master of Creative Writing at University of Sydney. Her poetry explores themes of culture, identity, generational trauma, love and sexuality. She hopes her words touch as many hearts with healing and empowers others to boldly express who they are.

We’re inviting painters, drawers, photographers, digital artists, sculptors, potters, poets, musicians, and all creative storytellers to take part in our next Nin Yoga Exhibition at our Penrith studio.

This event transforms the studio into a living gallery, a space where movement meets stillness, and creativity meets community. Expect an evening filled with art, live music, poetry, and conversation.

If your work explores themes of mindfulness, transformation, connection, nature, emotion, or the human experience, we’d love to have you involved.

All visual artworks will be displayed using 3M hooks (to protect the walls), and artists keep 100% of their sales. There’s a $20 + GST hanging fee for each work of art to cover materials and installation (if your artwork doesn't need this, we won't charge you!).
