rest and digest
Our Restorative Yoga workshop tomorrow is completely booked out this week, and it was soooooooo wonderful to see that happen.
In a life that can more often than not feel like too much, a lot of us are craving spaces where we can slow down a bit.
Less pressure, stimulation, and the need to perform your absolute best.
To just have a solid rest instead.
To sit quietly with ourselves for a moment.
To breathe a lil more slowly.
To soften and let our nervous system fall into rest and digest instead of fight or flight.
And shameless plug incoming, that’s a huge part of what our Yin Yoga & Meditation Teacher Training is about too.
This training starts July 24th at Nin Yoga Penrith and runs Friday nights from 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm across 13 weeks.
Despite the name, you absolutely do not need to want to become a yoga teacher to join.
Some people join because they want to teach.
Some people join because they want to understand the body, nervous system, meridians and meditation more deeply.
Some join because life has felt loud lately and they want a consistent space each week to reconnect with themselves.
Across the training we explore:
• Yin Yoga sequencing & philosophy
• Taoist theory & the meridian system
• Meditation practices
• Nervous system regulation
• Breathwork
• Class theming & holding space
• Yin poses, variations & prop support
• Restorative practices
• Accessibility & inclusive teaching
The training is open to both teachers AND students.
Early Bird pricing finishes at the end of this month.
